Developing cryogenic chips for the next generation of Quantum Technologies

The Problem

Quantum devices currently use room temperature electronics to bias, readout and control quantum devices. Scaling up to larger devices, this approach faces a wiring bottleneck and gets increasingly expensive.

The Solution

Cryogenically operated Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) fabricated in reliable CMOS technology reduces the cost and the wiring, enabling larger quantum devices to be operated.

Who are we?

With a strong foundation in academia and having demonstrated several prototypes in the lab, FrostByte span out of the Delft University of Technology to develop products out of the developed expertise and enable the next step in control of quantum devices.
